Code of Conduct

The way we train matters.

solesounds code of conduct

Respect the room.

Arrive ready to train, listen when instruction is given, and treat the space with care.

Stay open to feedback.

Corrections are part of training. Students are expected to receive feedback with respect and use it to grow.

Respect each other.

Support your classmates. No teasing, bullying, mocking, or negative comments toward another student’s effort, skill level, body, or style.

honor the culture.

Breaking has history, roots, and people who came before us. Students are encouraged to learn where movement comes from and carry that knowledge with respect.

Train with Awareness.

Be mindful of your body, your space, and the people around you. Breaking requires control, safety, and attention.

build your own movement.

Students may learn from others, but the goal is not to copy exactly. The goal is to develop movement they can truly understand and own.

Effort Matters.

Students are not expected to be perfect. They are expected to try, practice, ask questions, and keep improving.

Take turns and share Space.

Everyone deserves room to train, explore, and be seen. Students should not crowd, interrupt, or take over the floor.

The goal is not only to become better movers — it is to become better students of the room.

Our Standard

SoleSounds is a place for students who want to grow through training. A strong room is built by everyone in it — the teacher, the students, and the families who support them.

Students who consistently disrupt the room, disrespect others, or ignore safety expectations may be asked to sit out, take a break, or pause participation until they are ready to return with the right mindset.

This is not about punishment. It is about protecting the room so every student has the chance to learn, train, and grow.
